Warner Music Group is moving. For the first time, all of our New York teams will be under one roof, at global headquarters within Paramount Plaza at 1633 Broadway. Our new home is an exciting opportunity for more interaction and greater collaboration throughout the company, while we continue to nurture the unique cultures of our legendary labels and business units. Six spacious floors are being completely remodeled and redecorated for our relocation, which will be completed in October.
GENERAL SUPPORT
MAIL & MESSENGER SERVICES
All mail and current magazine subscriptions will automatically be forwarded to the new building.

The mailroom is located in the basement (Level C2). The mail pickup and delivery will be performed similar to the way it is currently being done.
ID CARDS
New ID cards will be issued to all employees. Further instructions will be provided closer to the move in date.
BUSINESS CARDS AND STATIONARY
Ordering business cards and stationery for 1633 Broadway will be each individual’s responsibility. Any employees moving in Phase I who ordered business cards as of May 1, 2014 will receive cards with the new mailing address.

WORK PLACE TECHNOLOGY
Integrated technology is a key aspect of our new workplace design at the Paramount Building.
Technology features include:
Secure Wi-Fi
High speed wireless network coverage for employees and visitors on all WMG floors.
Conference Rooms
An upgraded conference room experience allows users to check availability and book rooms from their computer or iPad display located at the entrance to the room. Simplified, self-service, audio, video, & presentation equipment - all managed with a simple touch screen controller.
Digital Signage System
WMG branded content will be delivered on high definition displays featured throughout the public areas, both for signage and directions.

WELCOME
Elevator lobbies are the first places visitors will experience at the WMG offices. Each lobby is uniquely designed to engage and inspire while also leaving a lasting brand impression. There are two large reception areas, pictured here is the Warner Music Group reception on the 8th floor.
INTERCONNECTING STAIRS
AND SHOWCASE SPACES
Stairwells are an opportunity to showcase artists and history as well as host performances and in-house events. Artist lounges and conference rooms are located conveniently nearby to make them easily accessible for guests and employees alike. Here you see the main stairwell at Atlantic Headquarters.
WMG COMMONS
At the heart of the new headquarters is the WMG Commons. Located on the 7th floor overlooking a private WMG terrace, this space is open to all staff. Lounge, dining and bar height seating offer comfortable settings to work, dine, socialize and entertain any time of the day or night. Groups can also host large town hall meetings together here with sound, AV and food service.
ON FLOOR AMENITIES
Each floor has multiple staff amenities including open pantries, lounges and break out spaces. These spaces are designed to reflect the culture of each department. They also provide alternative work settings.
WORK SPACE
Each workplace floor has been designed to reflect the energy of the company and support the activity of the employees. Brand new furniture, finishes and lighting are provided throughout. Here you see a work space within Atlantic Records.

MOVE COORDINATORS
In order to make the move as smooth and easy as possible each
group has been assigned a MOVE COORDINATOR. This person
will be regularly updating you on all aspects of the move
including:
  • Notifying you when clean up receptacles will be arriving
  • Making arrangements for disposal of items as directed by you
  • Explaining what, when and how to pack
  • Providing updates to the schedule
  • Answering questions you may have

CLEAN UP PROTOCOL
In the upcoming weeks you will find conveniently located
receptacles around the office for all materials that may require
removal. Please use this time to begin cleaning up your work
space and getting rid of things you will not be bringing to the new building. Please use the below as a reference.
Triwalls/bins will be provided for garbage.
Blue recycle bins to be utilized for recycled material (paper) that does not need to be shredded.
Iron Mountain boxes and transmittal forms will be provided for any files that fall within the document retention policy.
Shred It bins (consoles and totes) will be provided for items that need to be shredded.
CD products to be shredded will be separated into boxes for special destruction through shredding vendor.
The Facilities Department and Move Coordinators will instruct employees to leave
behind all items that will not fit into their new space. This may include, but is not
limited to:
  • Personal refrigerators
  • Space heaters and fans
  • Artwork
  • Furniture
  • Garbage cans
  • Hooks and hangers
  • Whiteboards
  • AV equipment
DOCUMENT RETENTION
Please also use this time to review your department’s Retention
Policy below and dispose of your documents accordingly.
Employees should contact Carolyn Mariani with any questions
regarding records retention policies.
The documents address documentation retention for all types of
